I work in a very liberal religious house of worship in a very liberal NON diverse community. Virtue signalling social justice warriors abound! Besides me, there are 3 other conservatives in the entire facility that I know of, but only I have outed myself. Here’s the kicker...Since the church shooting in Texas and the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, they are hardening the facility—it may cost upwards of $150,000! We have security guards (unarmed of course), everything is locked including the front door. The measures being taken over a PERCEIVED threat is insane! So, when I mentioned to a liberal colleague all the effort and expense to secure the building but no support for securing the border, with thousands poring in every day, her response was: “Illegals aren’t shooting up these places.” UNBELIEVABLE.
I, naturally, followed up by asking what about drug smugglers, human traffickers, coyotes, abuse of women and children, MS 13. Wouldn’t it be better if they immigrated legally, waited their turn, not pay coyotes, not endanger themselves. She didn’t want to hear it—she probably agrees it’s all “manufactured.” Last thing she said was “I don’t agree with you.”
You are the type of person that is going to side with the Democrats when Trump builds a “fence,” instead of a “wall.”

More importantly, I was correcting another Freeper who stated that Trump referenced “Obama’s wall,” when in fact Trump never said Obama.
You kind of missed the whole premise that these rich politicians build walls around themselves (their property, their communities, their offices, whatever!), but we the riff-raff are not worthy of said defenses.

My message will be short and simple, much like the Founders plan laying out the responsibilities of the federal government.
National Security is their First and most important responsibility.

I agree that contacting the congress critters does little good. I think we should cut out the voice boxes of the commies. I want the numbers for nbc, abc, cbs, fox, msnbc, the new york times, the la whatever, I am sure you get the idea. Second part of the plan is worry the sh?t out of their advertisers. Let them know you are putting your money where your mouth is and will no longer support megacorporations that are with the dims and therefore against the common man.
If I weren’t so old and lazy, I would try to get the numbers myself. Thanks in advance.

Senator Perdue went right to his machine. That is ok, IF someone eventually listens.
Senator Isakson - young lady answered, I thanked her for answering the phone, and said my piece, short and to the point. She listened then responded after more than a few beats with a decidedly amused tone. I asked her if she thought National Security was an amusing issue. She said no, and I said that was good, because we sure don’t find it funny, and further, she might want to check her attitude toward the people who pay her.
Honestly, no surprise at all coming from Isakson’s office.
Congressman Buddy Carter - young lady answered, listened and was very nice in tone. I told her about my experiences today, and thanked her for being the best of the three. She said it was her pleasure, and reassured me of what I already knew - that Rep. Carter backs the wall.
Shakes head... we didn’t even vote for Carter in the primaries... had seen him in several small venue events, did not like his style... hopefully, he will REALLY come through for America in the end.
