KUSI News, a television news outlet based in San Diego, California, said Thursday that CNN invited — and subsequently rescinded the invitation — for it to provide a reporter to give “a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown.” The San Diego-based outfit speculated on CNN’s rationale for the decision: We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work.

We must remember they know walls work and that is why they are against it. They will not allow anyone on the air who speaks the truth. The entire goal is to keep things as they are for a few more years. If they can do that the GOP will never win National Election again and the House will lost forever. They should have told CNN that the border wall does not work, and then when they got on-air told the truth that it DOES work, and watch them fall all over themselves.

KUSI hires the "over the hill" on-air talent from other San Diego stations when they no longer meet the "fresh face" expectations of a major market TV station. Many of them are excellent staff that just "aged out". Some are 2nd stringers that couldn't get a job elsewhere. The founder of the "Weather Channel", John Coleman, was on KUSI for years before selling his interest in his creation. I suspect the management has trended more left leaning over the years.
