Call it a barrier then.
To hell with those so-called Republicans.
Exactly right. The GOP held both houses of Congress and the Presidency for two years, and nothing was done to build a wall.
"All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of representatives." (U.S. Constitution, Article I, section 7, clause 1).
The GOP had both houses during W.’s administration and all they did was try to pass amnesty.
From what I’ve heard, if Trump just changes his terminology to “physical barrier”, it’s all over. Government is back open (or at least DHS is; now, if they can get those baby-killer poison pills out of the other bill). “Physical barrier” would also better conform with what the CBP actually wants (a wall in some places, a fence in others, maybe just tech in still other places). JMO.
Time to fire off missives to NBC on whether they would prefer to be hanged for treason or shot dead.
We are within inches of a civil war. And it’s not looking good for the leftist weenies who can’t find the correct bathroom or the safety on a gun.
Fine, let them tear down the walls around their properties or their gated communities if they are skeptical. Or maybe even tear out some of the outside walls of their own houses. Same goes for the DemoKKKrats.
Shutdown for a shutdown’s sake is a good thing as long as you dont pay the non-working employee.
The More of them you convene to quit and find new jobs the fewer mindless leftist bureaucrats our taxpayer dollars go to feed.
The wall is acceptable... although a glowing radioactive wasteland thick with minefields and barbed wire would be more effective.
I noticed this is the theme of all major dnc news outlets today.
“Polls show that even the republicans do not want a wall and blame President Trump for the shutdown”. I bet a montage of the same wording from each of them could be put together pretty quickly.
I’m tiring of so many people saying the Trump administration could have approved the wall/barrier over the past two years.
Idiots forget that the bill would require 60 votes to pass in the Senate and the GOP only had 51 members after McCain died (no guarantee he would have voted for the bill, either).
