Even the EU folks are admitting today that the whole thing is screwed up now. Some journalists are suggesting that either an extension should be offered up (which the EU rules don’t allow), or a second public vote should be offered (would just make it a bigger mess).
This was the end game all the time for the Remainers, including Teresa May. They are going to bring this to another referendum, and with all of the media poised against Brexit, it will fail and the UK will remain in the EU. Did anybody really believe the swamp would let the voters decide? The Remainers slogan was "let the people decide" and now it's "ah, what the hell do they know".
