Any Who fan must read Daltrey’s autobio. Much better than Townshend’s IMHO.
Why not? The Stones and Billy Joel are touring (separately) this summer.
But how do you replace John Entwhistle and Keith Moon and still be The Who?!
Some now call them, "The Two". Yes, it's basically now nothing more than a Tribute Band. But as long as they can do it, why not?

Zak Starkey was taught the art of drumming by Keith Moon. He does a great job on Keith Moon licks when he plays with the who.
Peter Frampton was OK. That’s about it.
Maybe he should play bass.

They kept going without Moon by hiring Kenny Jones of the Small Faces.
Rumor had it that they wanted Rat Scabies of The Damned due to his having a similar drumming style to Moon.

Moonie almost joined Led Zeppelin. He played with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones on “Beck’s Bolero” and that was right around the time Page was in the process of forming Led Zeppelin, and he definitely wanted Keith Moon.

A local Boston radio station has a quiz every day, $1000.00 prize if they get all correct. The woman today didn’t and her consolation prize was 2 tickets to The Who concert at Fenway Park.
To say that she was thrilled would be an understatement.

He looks like a little old lady now.
