Can we step back a moment? Who out here when they were 18 really cared about politics? At 18, I was more liberal minded because I thought that it’s a good idea to fix all the worlds ills. However, I didn’t give it much thought. Most of my thoughts as an 18 year old was how to get into the fairer sex’s pants if you want to be honest...
“The fruits of Open Borders, Left control over the commanding heights of education and culture, and 40% bastard rates.”
Nothing to add, you nailed it succinctly. It’s reaping time.
So, moronials and ‘post’ moronials to deal with?
The socialism train is arriving at the station.
how is it possible to get much more liberal than millennials? Instead of being super super for open borders, they’re super super super for open borders?
No diversity of thought.
Suck lord obama’s schlong, mm mmm m
Don’t worry about it.
Most of them are too young to vote.
A lot of Gen X went through the Reagan years and saw many good things. They may have started off Liberal, but by the end of the 80s, a lot of folks realized that tax cuts weren't stupid, and being tough with Russia didn't have to lead to war.
Generation Z is Liberal today? No surprise there. They've grown up in a bad world with lots of controversy, and lots of student loan debt, and they've been told the economy is terrible. I think that after 8 years of Trump they will tend to say, "Those ideas that Trump had have worked out pretty well for me."
To be young and conservative is to have no heart.. to be and liberal is to have no brain..
They’ve lived in a peaceful empire that can create and spend massive money and debt on every political, nanny-state leftist social-engineering project imaginable from leftist education to open borders to saving the whales
Why would they believe otherwise?

Actually, there’s a split. There’s Gen-Z, which is the liberal/millenial we all know and loathe, and there’s Generation Homeland/Generation-Zyklon which is decidedly not lefty. Gen-Zyklon is not as large, or as well-known, but is definitely present.
If you are not actually a Nazi, try calling whatever it is you are talking about something different.
It is the Gen Z kids, according to Haidt, who complained to their college professors that they were damaged by any information that was contrary to their protective outlook on life. They were the ones who demanded safe spaces and insisted that conservative speakers be banned from campus.
Haidt said that, compared to the "helicopter parents" of the prior generations, the parents of Gen Z kids were "bulldozer parents" (i.e. bulldozing away anything that might be threatening, unwanted, or unpleasant by their kids).
It is this frail, flower-like generation that is most likely going to want to usher in socialism because they believe it is safe.
BTW, the suicide rate and the self-mutilation rates are much higher in this generation.
I am guessing that they are the offspring of the voters in the Blue suburbs of major East Coast cities, Chicago, and the West Coast.
US has become a feral society
Color me skeptical. I don't know anybody like that.
“Who out here when they were 18 really cared about politics?”
Not many. And if they do, it’s all based on feelings in a majority of cases.
People get older though, and there’s still enough liberty in America to see what things could be like if you’d accept some personal responsibility, get an OK job, and not buy the whole liberal scheme to take over the world. That’s why people tend to get more conservative as they pass through their 20s.
Divorced parents giving youth 100% authority in the home and 0% responsibility.
My 16 yr old white, straight, male stepson is a perfect example; proudly announcing in all caps that he is NOT a REPUBLICAN. He is being raised by his liberal shrew of a mother circa 1972 who has alienated every and any speck of conservatism out of his life.
