One can always rely on racism!
So sorry for those who have to live through this. It’s barbaric and medieval.
(Guess I’ll have to buy a NEW mouse. This one’s uncontrollable.)
What I heard about the Manbij bombing. Not a patrol. In a cafe. Explosives planted night before as certain parties had Intel re: meeting between YPG and CIA.
Not ISIS, but an entity trying to sway Trump to stay in Syria.
Update that to three US Service members, two CIA agents.
Thanks for the update. I’m skeptical about sources via MSM. They simply lie frequently.
And am convinced that our “ally” Turkey is the source of the attack.
MiT is active not only in Syria, the Middle East, but also in the EU and the USA. They’ve been caught murdering people in the EU.
No, it was not ISIS. Unless ISIS is working for Turkey (they are certainly doing that in Efrin (Afrin)).
I’m told this is work of MiT sleeper cells. If it is, and they did this; I’m sure they will be dealt with properly by the SDF. And probably some of our ops helping.
Turkey and Iran leadership is the source of the great misery we have seen. Of course nobody will openly criticize them, but all Western nation know the reality. Insane.
Army Chief Warrant Officer (comms tech?)
Cryptologic Warfare Activity 66 (NSA tech?)
Defense Intelligence Agency operations support specialist (DIA tech?)
My gut tells me that they were all connected to command function, probably did not wear normal uniform.
From the article:
“Four other American service members have been killed in Syria since the U.S. entered the country under the Obama administration in October 2015.”
Not exactly accurate. We began air support to end ISIS during the siege of Kobani in Sep/Oct 2014. Before Trump was in office, Obama never armed the Syrian Kurds. We did give air cover.
I doubt US military was on the ground before 2016. CIA might have been, but you’d not be able to distinguish them from other forces there.
