A Catholic archdiocese outside Cincinnati is investigating the actions of some of its high school students during the Indigenous Peoples March in Washington Friday.
Some students wearing Make America Great Again hats and clothing surrounded and taunted a Native American troupe as it performed the "American Indian Movement" song about strength and courage. It's not clear which of those young people surrounding the Native Americans are students of Covington Catholic High School in Covington, Kentucky.
But the Diocese of Covington criticized any students who participated in the action, which broke out as a group from the school was in Washington for the anti-abortion event March for Life.
Its statement, forwarded by archdiocese spokeswoman Laura Keener, singled out Native American leader Nathan Phillips, a Vietnam War veteran and Omaha elder. In social media videos of the incident Phillips can be seen singing as a male taunts him smilingly and gets close to his face.
The male was not identified.

A leftist American Indian “activist” with a long history of trouble making saw their MAGA hats, and led his little group of rabble rousers into them, to provoke a confrontation. One kid stood his ground and refused to be cowed.
They start lying in the second sentence. The kids did not surround the man. They were in a group. The Man came up and got in the kids personal space.
Creating the constant narrative. Or should I say, drumbeat.
No MAGA hats, no story.
I watched the video. If that’s “mocking”, it’s pretty mild.
Exactly the opposite of what happened. It was Phillips who attempted to provoke the youth in the MAGA hat.

Go to Gateway Pundit for the real story. This Indian is a bit demented. He went up to these high school kids pounding his drum. He started it.
The video can be seen below. Phillips gets right into the young man’s personal space. It appears Phillips is trying to intimidate him, to get him to move or flinch, or push back. At one point Phillips drum appears to touch the young man’s shoulder. Phillips beats the drum literally in the young man’s face. The drum stick is flashing by, only inches from his nose. At the same time, Phillips is chanting/screaming directly into the young man’s face. It appears to be an attempt at provocation by Phillips.
The young MAGA hat wearer refuses to be intimidated or provoked into a reaction that can be used against him.

It does not matter. The Washington Post runs a story claiming the young MAGA hat wearer showed disrespect by “smirking” at Phillips.
And they wonder why we don't believe them anymore.
My heart breaks for that young man. He has had death threats against him just for standing there and letting that “elder” bang a drum in his face. If something happens to him, the liberal media will have his blood on their hands.
Watch the video. The Kids were just enjoying the show. This one man beats a drum in the face of one kid in a obviously intimidating way. The kid doesn’t give ground. I would say the kid passed his initiation.

Was Elizabeth Warren part of the dance? Oh, I guess not as she has now acknowledged that she is, umm, not a “person of color”. But she was or at least she listed herself as such when she got the job as a perfesser filling a Native American slot on the faculty at Harvard Law School, which as a Rutgers Law School graduate, she would never have been hired for, but at that time she honestly thought she was a Cherokee. Just as the man who held her Mass. Senate seat before her, Neckbrace, thought he had nothing to do with the scandal involving Miss Kopechne.
So the spokeswoman is believing NBC’s story and not standing up for the kids when this activist invaded their space? She should be fired if she did not investigate the circumstances herself.
For such a well educated state, well, at least on paper, Mass. voters are pretty stoopid.
This “drummer” is way too aggressive to be legit. Looks like he’s looking for a fight. More likely than not, he’s a stooge who was paid big dollars by his white commie female handler to create an incident.
A legit Indian drummer will not go into a crowd and bang a drum.
