On Thursday, January 24, the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee is scheduled to consider House Bill 1021. Please contact committee members and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 1021.
House Bill 1021, seeks to repeal the misguided 2013 law that limited the amount of ammunition a firearm magazine can hold. By removing this restriction, law-abiding Coloradans are not limited in their ability to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Again, please contact members of the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 1021.
Anyway, contact info at the link.
FYI
Thanks for posting this.
Oh, yeah. That kind of magazine.
It’s good to keep pushing even when the opposition has the majority. The Dems do and they succeed ... far too often.
I submitted my name to this petition earlier today.
I did too, as soon as I got it.
re post #4 - and you can get all your liquor down in Costa Ricar! :)
I will be astonished if this ever gets out of committee. But I put my name in anyway.
The State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee is known as the Kill Committee. It's where the (Dem.) speaker sends bills he doesn't approve of to die.
There are likely many others that will take that route before the 2019 session is over.
Republicans shouldn't expect bills they sponsor to get a fair hearing, let alone a vote--unless, of course, it's one the Democrats wanted but for some reason forgot (or couldn't put in the hopper due to the limit on how many bills a member can introduce) and you know what those would be like.
Best hope is the Dems will overplay their hand and pass some really, really stupid-ass environmentalist laws like they have in Californica.
Federal courts will be busy with appeals just as they are with those relating to cake decorators and wedding photographers. (And the Trump bench team will, hopefully, rule in accordance with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights rather than "popular sentiment.".)
Love it.
It’s a stupid law. 48 of 54 sheriffs said they would not enforce it. I do not think any ranges “enforces” it. You can buy GLOCK 17 magazines. They are sold as kits you have to put together. Or just drive to Wyoming.
I do not care what law these schitts pass. I bought all the mags I would ever want before their stooped law took effect. They may get put into good service if the communists get more aggressive. Stoopid leftist communists!
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
I think that’s my favourite cartoon of all time.
I agree with you ...... not gonna happen till the rats are gone. I just carry four 1911A1’s w Wilson 8 round mags and 1 in the “chambers” for now ..... Door, Center Console and the Bell “New York” reload SOB holster ......

Time to change the State's name - "Calirado" or "Colofornia" might be appropriate...
bump for today.
Yeah, not holding my breath.
Fortunately they only banned the sale of them, not possession. And I stocked up. Screw them.
