I heard that remark by Dershowitz - and was quite surprised by it. Isn’t Manafort facing jail for crimes he committed years ago, before the Trump campaign?
If so, it appears to me that Dershowitz isn’t completely accurate, unless the crimes are excluded from the process.
I can’t wait for Hannity to tell us today about the “wonderful rank and file FBI” again today. Puke.
But those crimes had nothing to do with the charge of the Mueller investigation, i.e, Russian meddling in the 2016 election and Trump collusion with the Russians. It was a counterintelligence operation.
And Manafort was not prosecuted for these crimes until Mueller took over. The Feds had all this information and chose not to prosecute. We all know that the true target of the Manafort investigation was Trump. If Mueller had not been appointed, Manafort would be a free man today.
Of course it is. Unfortunately, our side still wants the high moral ground with the truth. Their side lie, cheat, spin, parse, distort about everything. ENOUGH! I say we fight fire with fire!
ANYONE WHO IS INTERVIEWED BY MUELLER OR HIS FBI CO-HORTS EITHER CLAIM THEIR 5TH AMENDMENT RIGHT OR USE THE BILLY, HILLARY, COMEY EXAMPLES OF "I DON'T REMEMBER, I DON'T RECALL, I HAVE NO MEMORY OF THAT, ETC."!!!

This is the GOP led Senate intel committee colluding with the Mueller Coup once again. Burr is chairman. Rubio and Cotton are members. It’s hard to see the GOP ever recovering from aiding and abetting this terrorism.
Roger Stone may or may not be the greatest living American Patriot - In fact, he may be guilty as sin of any number of high crimes - But if Gestapo Mueller and his Merry Gang of Trump Hating Witch Hunters arrested the Devil - I’d say a few kind words about his Awfulness at Free Republic.
They say what comes around goes around - so would it be karma if Gestapo Mueller finds himself busted early one morning for his high crimes to include treason?

I'm there now. I was on the rah-rah side until it became clear the FBI "rank and file" are more about protecting their careers and pensions. We kept waiting for them to come out in force, but they never did. I'm fed up with all law enforcement. Its become painfully apparent that they need busts to pad their files for advancement. And no, I don't care if they do it for their families...they can always get jobs as security experts.

We elected a president. Not only one with no allies in the political and government class that has full possession of the entire U.S. government, but one with very few who will carry out his directives. The system is not just rejecting him as a body does a foreign object, it is directly isolating and assaulting him as it would a disease.
You don’t conduct revolutions by electing an isolated president. You conduct revolutions the old fashioned way. And it is apparent from the reaction of the government establishment to the Trump Presidency that we need a revolution.
I hope the military will at least follow his orders. They are the only hope for destroying D.C. and salting the earth it stood on. Unless the people can somehow do it themselves.

It' been clear for a long time now, that even the "rank and file" FBI are corrupt as not one whistleblower has emerged from any rank or file over these last several years to expose the corruption. I guess pensions are more important.
How can any citizen be a part of a jury trial anywhere in this country for which the case involves the FBI (for either side) and not have an extreme negative bias against them?
This witch hunt is destroying what might have been left of our "judicial" system.
Burr has been on the Dem’s side the whole time. He must have a lot to lose if the swamp gets drained.
