Mueller's team seized 'voluminous and complex' evidence from Roger Stone

Federal investigators probing Roger Stone, the former Trump campaign official indicted last week in the Russia probe, have seized multiple hard drives containing years of communication records from cellphones and email accounts, the special counsel's office said Thursday.

Robert Mueller's prosecutors, in a new court filing, described the evidence as "voluminous and complex" in asking a judge to delay his trial to give them more time to sift through the seized devices.

The court papers said investigators grabbed hard drives containing several terabytes of information, including "FBI case reports, search warrant applications and results (e.g., Apple iCloud accounts and email accounts), bank and financial records, and the contents of numerous physical devices (e.g., cellular phones, computers, and hard drives)."

The FBI is doing what it calls a "filter review" of the devices, setting aside any evidence that cannot be admissible in court because it is considered privileged.

During a press conference Thursday, Stone agreed that evidence is voluminous and complex, and said both parties had agreed to the language in the government's filing.

Years of communication...surely they can find something they can misconstrue in that.

What in God’s name was Stone doing with all this data at his house if he knew the freaking FBI was coming—and he did know the FBI was coming. He talked about them coming for him for months.

Lord I hope this guy is not as lame brain stupid as this makes him out to be.

“...asking a judge to delay his trial to give them more time to sift through the seized devices.”

Yes, give us some time to find something.

I thought that an arrest was always based on evidence at hand.

Poor dumb me.

Good thing Hillary never had an email account, the FBI would still be piling on the charges.

#priorities Got to crucify the man trying to turn this ship back on course. That is far more important than investigating petty cases of treason, murder, corruption, etc....

Evidence of what? If they could dig up my old emails they’d find correspondence with Russian and all kind of foreign nationals, but all it proves is an attempt to do bidness outside the US.

Stone has been saying he’d be indicted for a year now, you’d think he’d be smart enough to get rid of anything that was truly incriminating. As it is, it sounds like he’ll just give Mueller something to do for a few months or more.

Stone seems eager to testify, at least unlike that cringing fool Cohen he’s got some guts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They were able to search the 650,000 emails on Weiners computer in about an hour and a half and found no wrongdoing.
No chance that will happen with Stone.
I believe we are going to see increasingly outrageous moves from Mueller’s team - it wouldn’t surprise me to see Donald Trump junior indicted and arrested soon.
Mueller has been tasked by his Globalist/Deep State handlers with doing anything possible to goad Donald Trump into taking drastic action against him and his investigation. This is all about finding some grounds to impeach Trump (”Obstruction of Justice”) to interfere with naming Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s replacement.
Too bad for them DJT is way way too smart for these a-holes.
This is why the had to hit Stone’s house.
It’s to collect and analyze all of the opposition research Stone has, and to identify all of his contacts.
Nothing to do with Russia or 2016 at all.
They will conveniently pass over all confidential information to FL field office for DOJ prosecution.
They want Stone locked up period!
Not one bit connected to collusion.
