I suspect he will become a “non person” shortly, joining Jimmy the Greek, Al Campanis and others who are banished from polite society.
But why is yearbook crap even a thing? Resign now for something he did 40 years ago when he wasn’t even out of school? Who’s got a brain before 25?

The points you mention ‘normally’ would apply, but they don’t in this case & here’s why:
This wasn’t ‘before 25’ ... he was a college graduate and in med school. By today’s standards, when 40 year old men are still living in their parents’ basements, maybe he wouldn’t be an “adult”, but he certainly was considered one in 1984.
Northam brought the racist (and it is) photo issues forward into the current day & time. Was the photo a mere prank & since then, there has been not one whiff of racism on his part & he’s obviously grown & become an better man? No, he has not. In his race against Ed Gillespie, he threw dirty, ugly racist bombs all during the campaign. Other Demon Rats (Kamala, Barack, etc.) piled in/on as well. The pickup truck ad was dirty, ugly racist politics at its worst. He also made liberal use of the Charlottesville CNN hoax to tar & feather Gillespie, Republicans & President Trump with lies and racist untruths. Northam brought his racism from 1984 forward into the current sphere of politics.
Last, but not least, the racism in the photo wasn’t the only time racism has come up regarding Northam so it wasn’t a one-off prank back in ‘the day’. Northam also, in a different yearbook (VMI) is sporting the nickname “Coonman”. You don’t get a name like that just off handedly. The first four letters are derogatory towards black people in the same was as the “n” word. This nickname, plus the photo, plus his current actions, show a pattern of racism.
I totally agree with you on the ‘cracked and evil’ regarding his abortion thinking. The man sold his soul to Satan, namely by taking 2 million from the baby killing servants of Satan, Planned Parenthood. No matter how you parse his words, he was describing infanticide last Wednesday which is SO egregious ... then, as if you could make it worse, the man is a pediatric neurologist who took an oath to “do no harm” ... and he thinks killing a born human being is ok. Horrific.
Depending on who you are, colors (no pun intended) how you view the this whole situation. If you are a Demon Rat, Northam committed the unpardonable sin of pulling the mask off of the horrors of the one thing the Dems treat as sacred - abortion/murdering babies. Northam is quite expendable to the Dems .... they have a young, black, radically Progressive Lt. Gov. waiting in the wings. His color makes him a poetic ending to the racism of whitie, Racist Ralph. Fairfax worked for Planned Parenthood so no loss there & he’s a friend of Eric Holder plus he’s a gun grabber. Perfect for the Dems.
If you are anything but Demon Rat, you’re not forgiving or overlooking Northam’s racism in the past because he did bring it forward into the future and continues to do so with attacks on President Trump. If Northam could survive and finish his term, he would be the gift that keeps on giving to the Republicans because he would neuter to a great degree the Demon Rats ability to throw the race/bigot bomb and he would likely be so neutered himself as Governor, that he would have a hard time causing further harm to Virginia.
Personally, I think the man will resign within a week. The two Senators (scum, both of them) Kaine & Warner, who had been standing with Northam, have issued a joint statement calling for him to resign. IMO, that was the coup de grace for him. He also, with his press conference yesterday, shot himself in both moonwalking feet and looked like an idiot - he’s being widely mocked and if there is such a thing as turning something as ugly as racism into something humorous, he managed to do it. He’s a walking disaster personally & for the Demon Rats so he’s not viable as a functioning governor.
I’m glad I’m not running for office. My yearbook in high school has me in red, white and blue striped pants with a jean jacket...my school picture has me in pink pants, pink shirt and a blue tie...typical 70s outfit...my friend in his picture wore orange shirt and orange pants...
The lib elites know his presence is damaging to their race-baiting tactics, and after blacks helped Trump take PA, MI, and WI, they can’t lose that angle. Any Republican in any state can use this dope as the “face of the Democratic Party” in ads; I see no way he survives this - and the clock is ticking. Blacks should take note of which Dems are NOT calling for his resignation, and remember when they try to scare blacks into voting according to plantation policies.
Notice, no mention that Northam is a Democrat.
If this was a Republican, it would be mentioned in the first line, and repeated constantly thru the article.

The left wants to keep the Virginia fraud voter machine going. McAuliffe allowed possible 200 hundred thousand felons names to be placed on the books so they could vote for them, imo. That’s why they win state wide or a big part of it. McAulliffe wants the black guy in. Just like he brought in Stoney, another black guy, to be his hand picked mayor of Richmond.

Obama endorsed him and made campaign appearances on his behalf. Where is Obama’s statement on this matter? Doesn’t he cate about black people?
Yep - the Fake News also asked why his opponent didn’t use the photo against him....my guess is they have another 30-40 year old deal that wasn’t an issue of the time to use against one of our side and are willing to sacrifice him in order to ‘justify” using it.
Of course, CNN wants the Black Communist lieutenant governor to take over.
Northam is an old school Dem. I’m enjoy this hubbub. Hope he doesn’t resign and it carries on to 2020.

First thing we need to look at is who actually is in the KKK hood? I bet Northam is the one in black face and there is a black guy in the hood. That’s what would make the picture comical instead of racial.
