“Heaven forbid, that murderous muslims would become pacifists.”
Agreed dude, agreed.
You may not appreciate a peace-church guy, but you know he would feed you, shield you in his house, and not cut your throat.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinnersof whom I am the worst. - St. Paul's 1st Letter to Timothy 1:15
He was the least likely convert...and went onto become who theologian Scott Hahn refers to as 'the most thoroughly converted person in human history.'
...As all Paul's explosive energy, passion, and inner fires of hatred fully transformed into energy, passion, and inner fires of love. He completely surrendered himself to Christ, and so it was this former Jewish terrorist, who God chose to bring and preach the Gospel to the Gentile world.
Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. - 1 Timothy 1:13-14
Yes, if true. Remember the doctrine of al-Taqiyya...
Then, don’t join.
I wouldn’t. That’s what ‘no thanks’ means.
People willing to live in a country but
unwilling to defend it from its enemies don’t deserve
the freedom others have sacrificed to provide.
Thank you very much for this, Condoleezza. That’s the central truth, and you’re helping us keep a good hold on it.
Thank you.
Praise the Lord, hard to believe this is reported by the MSM, but there may be some believers therein. (Yuliya Talmazan is a London-based journalist).
Most of the brothers here converted or come to church as a result of what ISIS did to them and to their families, he added. No one is forced to convert. Our weapon is the prayer, the spreading of spirit of love, brotherhood and tolerance.
Jasim, who works as a mechanic, converted to Christianity late last year.
He says he was jailed by ISIS for six months in early 2016 after the militants discovered he didn’t know the basics of Islam. He says he was tortured in ISIS captivity and forced to read the Quran.
Fighting back tears, Jasim says he hopes that his loved ones will not only one day forgive him for finding a new faith, but consider converting themselves. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/life-under-isis-led-these-muslims-christ-n963281
That is always a consideration, but they will have to answer to God for that and they can’t fool Him.
I for one am a believer in redemption, and I hope He is pleased with them.
But I can’t help the niggling feeling that some are using this as a ruse to winkle their way into a position to go full jihadi.
I have no doubt either.
And therein lies the problem, telling the difference.
Too many people don't exercise good judgment, otherwise known as discernment, and are wowed by a great testimony, and refuse to look further.
I think someone walking close to God and in tune with Him would sense that something wasn't right. It just wouldn't feel right to them.
ping re Kobani
These are the ones with IQs above 90
I have a very good friend going back some 30 years who is living in Baghdad, trying to be a witness for Jesus. He tells me about life in Baghdad, which seems incredible to me.
He is in danger every day.
Indeed. In Christ all things are possible.
Thank you for the ping. I read this weekend that there were 21,000 conversions in N. Syria in the last 4 years. (that may have been only those converting from Islam) From others I’ve talk to about it, that is probably a smaller figure than actual.
It is still a thing that is not talked about openly even in Syria. Especially with Turkey’s recent statements and threats. They want all of Syria, and last year when they invaded Efrin (Afrin) they demonstrated they will commit genocide again and ethnic cleansing. They have never admitted committing genocide, because they don’t intend to stop doing it in a number of forms.
