If President Trump were being tried in the Senate and there were the slightest inkling that a vote against him had the least, most remote chance, every type of communication to the Republican Senators would be melting with the heat (and words) of overuse. All on the right that might actually vote against as part of such an effort would find their job security tenuous in the extreme.
Just the same, advancement toward the goal of MAGA would by no means end with the cessation of PDJT's heartbeat.

Assuming the above statement is directed at Senators that have a spine and support Trump, I agree they would take heat from the Globalist Elites in the Senate and around the country.
But, I believe PASSION from the 63 million who voted for trump and actually love him would spill over into violence like this country has not seen since the Civil War ergo I believe the Turtle could not marshall 67 votes.

Same here regarding ads and tv and such. Im using an adblocker browser (brave) which works wonders. It’s not perfect, everynow and then one slides thru, but 99% of the annoyance ads are eliminated.
They let the CNN guy film with impunity. In any other FBI raid, if an average citizen showed up with their cell phone and tried to record the proceedings, the wrath of the FBI would fall on them.
I forgot to say...it does block fox news videos and dome of the mocking bird vids. Most of them post on youtube anyway, so if i want to see it bad enough, i just go tjere.

Impeachment happens in the House. It is almost a foregone conclusion that the Dems we saw yesterday in the Judiciary Committee inquisition of Acting AG Whittaker will start impeachment proceedings on President Trump. The Senate, which McConnell is supposed to lead, in responsible for conviction or not. They did not vote to convict Clinton, but I wouldn't feel confident about President Trump.
The FBI reports to the DOJ and the DOJ reports to the President. So, I would say the President does

It’s an important article for its insights, but unfortunately, not a stellarly-written article. The author further on down makes clear HJIC does understand the impeachment and removal procedure. His/her word choice and editing simply wasn’t always crisp.
