Butler, unlike Chicago, is definitely MAGA Country, so I fully understand and applaud the paper’s decision.

I would expect at least a few readers of the Eagle will react positively at such a bold move by extending their subscriptions.
Perpetuating them might be a stretch though.

Leftists are like nasty little children, spewing their hatred anywhere and everywhere they can, and unable to restrain themselves. Watch a movie made by a leftist? Read a review? Read ANYTHING? It’s only a matter of time before their Trump hatred breaks free and they start vomiting it up.
They really are mentally ill and nothing they produce should be tolerated in civilized society.

Reminds me of all the newspaper cartoons - in the comics section (not political cartoons) - containing offensive obcenities directed against Obama during his terms.
Right... I don't either!

I took it out of my feed.
Sad too, I liked the non-political stuff in that comic.
For the record, I still read Doonesbury. But, I expect what I get there.

The same thing happened in reverse to Pogo after Walt Kelly died. His son took over the strip The offending panel there had the lead character Pogo asking the question;
What good is it to be Politically Correct,
If your Morally Wrong?
Within a month the strip was dead.
