Hungary’s prime minister has announced a raft of measures aimed at boosting the country’s declining birth rate and reducing immigration. Giving his annual State of the Nation address Sunday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced a seven-point “Family Protection Action Plan” designed to promote marriage and families.
Measures announced included waivers on personal income tax for women raising at least four children for the rest of their lives and subsidies for large families to buy larger cars. The ‘action plan’ also extended a loan program to help families with at least two children to buy homes. Every woman under 40 will also be eligible for a preferential loan when she first gets married.

Then again Russia’s demographic stalemate can also be tied to Putin’s refusal to make abortion illegal...abortion being a cornerstone Soviet institution by the way.
Orban may be different at least in this regard. I am not aware of Hungary’s abortion laws.

Well, in our country we subsidize out-of-wedlock births, and we sure have a lot of them!
We should give financial incentives for stable couples to have that 3rd kid.

In the US we have around 1 million abortions (more or less) with about the same number of people immigrating legally and illegally - 1 million.

Government Rewarding citizens for getting married and having children. Instead of taxing them to the point where they can not afford marriage much less children.
Rodney Dangerfield said the only thing good about kids is making them. All jokes aside I think Hungary is doing a good thing.
