you keep saying the same incorrect thing and obviously didn’t do the search to show how wrong you are. I guess we’re done.

here’s a kick start

A U.S. senator represents a state as a whole and its interests in Congress. Since 1913, members of the Senate have been elected directly by the general population of a state, but before that, state legislatures appointed senators.

In terms of geography and population, there is a sizable difference between each state. The United States features a bicameral legislature, which seeks to eliminate the tension between equal representation for each state and equal representation for each person, regardless of state. This feature of the U.S. legislative system is known as the Great Compromise. There are two senators per state to give each state an equal say in the affairs of the federal government.

I would guess so, as you don't seem to understand the differences between the entities. Answer me these:
- In any political system with representatives, who does a rep represent? Not what's their geographical area, but who?
- Who exactly is voting for the senators?
- So who do the senators represent?
- After the 17th Amendment, what power does the State (not the people) have over their Senator?

MD Gov is a never-Trumper and right now, they’re trying to make us a “sanctuary state”.

Apparently the illegal hordes here are feeling unsafe, lately.

Even when we do get an [R] gov, we’re still the Freak State.

/and no, I cannot afford to move across the river to WV

It will be interesting to see how Obama’s emergency declaration in 2011 about the southern border will impact on this.””””

It will be even more interesting when the USA citizens find out that Pres Teddy Roosevelt in 1907 declared a 60 foot EASEMENT the the entire length of the USA/Mexican border.

How many deeds of landholders along the border properly reflect that fact?
