The “Reparations Boondoggle” will not be seen in that light. What the race hustlers want is governmental organizations, led by them, to determine how to use the money for equal housing, equal opportunity, equal education, etc. They, the race hustlers will be given US taxpayer largesse and then determine how the money will be spent and on whom.
Which means a permanent money pipeline for them, to use as they see fit.
Michael Moore considered his ancestor's death justified because he was taking land that belonged to the Indians.
I fully back reparations. We should give any person who was held as a slave in this country prior to 1866 a whole lot of money, plus interest. Further, I think that we should get it from those who held them as slaves prior to 1866.
Otherwise, not so much.
Reparations do not integrate well with the ‘Rat platform, other than the usual politician promises for votes.
The way it could work: ‘Rats get completely cocky in-power. They manage thru the courts, gerrymandering, electorate replacement guaranteeing perpetual and complete power (as is the case today in MA, CA, NY, etc). They take away guns. Ok, now at this point any earlier promise for reparations is moot. Either they forgedaboutit completely - what is the non-unarmed populace gonna do about it? Or they do make payouts - in what becomes Venezuelan-like US currency.
Buying votes with our money.
Strict violation of the 14th Amendment. The equal protection clause will have this struck down.
Come up with an amount, then subtract all gubmit assistance since LBJ’s Great Society and they will be money owed, a lot.
Whitey would get all the money back in no time.
How is it going to work? Only at gun-point.
And the Great Depression in between that equalized. My paternal great-grandfather lost the family farm in 1933. They were not wealthy people, but hard-working farmers. And don't forget the war-torn South and the carpet-bagging abuse post Civil War. The South has already paid a very heavy price for their sins of slavery.
I have seen evidence that an ancestor 7 generations back owned one or two slaves. He had 13 children. If there was any slave-holding wealth remaining in my family, it was gone at least 3 or 4 generations ago.
While slavery was a tragedy and just flat wrong, the truth is, African-Americans have a far more comfortable life and opportunity than they would have had they not been brought to America against their will. Like many things in life and history, great blessings often accrue out of injustice and tragedy. I am very sorry it happened, but I assure you that no benefit from it accrued to me. Instead of re-sawing the sawdust of the past for political advantage, let's engage in constructive and productive conversation and work. Re-hashing slavery and reparations will get us all nothing.

Give them however much they want. We get it all back within 10 years anyway
This is how the Left advances their narrative and agenda.
Right now the majority of Americans are against reparations.
But with three demoncrat presidential hopefuls publicly discussing this indicates how far the needle has move on this issue. Ten or fifteen years ago this would have killed a candidacy. Now, it is being openly discussed as a possibility to be studied and/or considered.
Give it another cycle or two and it will become almost Gospel this has to be done to "right the wrongs".
The Left has advanced homosexuality and the legalization of the murder of the unborn child in the same manner.
We have already paid $5 trillion to $10 trillion in reparations and it continues today with all the special set asides, favored treatment, rampant reverse discrimination and welfare. In a sane world, we would end this lunacy by saying “ENOUGH — you’ve been paid already. NO MORE.”
And then end all current programs.
Say we paid another trillion to satisfy that camel poking his nose under the tent. Like any good blackmailer, they’d be back for another two trillion. Then all the other groups would jump in and demand their four trillion. There would be no stopping the escalation and Democrats would support paying every demand in the name of “justice.” The herd of camels would flatten the tent.
After paying them off, they would all feel even greater resentment toward the hand that paid them, an even greater sense of entitlement, an further reduced work ethic, and race relations would sink to their lowest level ever. It would probably ignite a full-scale race war.
I know how it will work. In the end, it will be Whites paying everyone else for being White.

The RATS are so worried about 2020 that they are trying to “keep them on the plantation”....without the “slave” vote, they would lose for sure.
