"Wonder when Republican RINOs will realize that Democrats play dirty. ..."

...... LOL ..... Some if not all Rino's ARE basically Democrats who were either bought out or put in place by the Democrats or other operatives to keep the Republican Party in check and allow them to keep the Globalist Agenda alive.

..... Heck .... Google "UN Agenda 2030" ..... This is the driving force behind much of our Open Borders and International Support policies.

Respectfully to all, patriots deserve part of the blame for Senate condemnation of patriot-supported PDJT border wall as a consequence of their 17th Amendment (17A) power.

After all, “asleep at the wheel” patriots possibly (not probably) could have exercised their 17A power to ideally replace 167% (correction welcome) of Senate with true patriot lawmakers by this time since 2010 elections.

Insights welcome.

Everyone who voted against The Donald here needs a serious primary challenge.

At this point, Utah is the only place in the country that Romney could get elected to anything. Hope he doesn’t have an idea of ever running for president again, at least as a Republican. He wouldn’t make it through the first month of primaries

The House majority was worthless when we had it and now the Senate majority is equally worthless. We have a government that is insane.

Sen. Mitt Romney. "This is not a vote against border security..."

Lie.

I don’t remember this kind of reaction when Clinton diverted fifty billion to make good Goldman-sachs bad loans to Mexico.

I had the same question, until I realized that the Bill is to REJECT the President’s call for emergency action. Therefore, if the members vote “yes”, it has the effect of saying “NO” to PDJT.

It makes me wonder why they worded the bill the way they did. If a bill to ACCEPT the Presidential declaration of an emergency is on the floor and the same bill FAILS, then it never goes to Trump for his signature or his veto.

This way, the “NO” vote passes and goes to PDJT for his signature or veto, and you can be sure that it is going to be vetoed and thus be going back to both houses of Congress for their attempt to override PDJT’s veto with 2/3’s voting in favor of the motion. That’s not going to happen given the split in the House and Senate. So PDJT gets his emergency and the power to redirect funding to build the wall after all.

“This is not a vote against border security. In fact, I agree that a physical barrier is urgently needed to help ease the humanitarian crisis at the southern border, and the administration already has $4.5 billion available within existing authority to fund a barrier – even without an emergency declaration,” he said.

Let your kids get kidnapped and sold by human traffickers, and we'll see if you still think this isn't a national emergency.

Though too many have seemed real until the actually get the seat.

***************

We have to start voting on the basis of results, not empty rhetoric and the usual BS. Politicians lie and they’re good at it; its their full time job and their stock in trade. Its up to us to sort them out which means more effort on our part to do more due diligence.

And when elections come and their voters go the other way, they will be shocked and will not be able to figure out what happened. Senator Toomey from Pennsylvania was a surprise. The others are pretty much the usual goofballs. Let us hope their voters are paying attention.
