Lori Loughlin‘s daughters are dropping out of the University of Southern California — because they’re afraid of being bullied over the massive college admissions scam that has left them feeling like “a mess,” a report said Thursday.

Olivia Jade, 19, and her sister, 20-year-old Isabella Rose, have decided to withdraw from USC days after their parents, “Fuller House” star Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, were charged for allegedly paying the girls’ way into the school, TMZ reported.

One source told the gossip website the girls worry they’ll be “viciously bullied” if they return to school.

This is all overblown imo. These girls didn’t harm anybody. It’s a very big school, and I truly doubt their being let in kept anybody out

Who can blame her, can you imagine going to class and having your fellow classmates turn around and say “WOW you are such an idiot you needed your mommy to pay 250 grand to get you admitted” she would NOT be able to show her face in school..honestly by the looks of her youtube videos, I doubt she even attended any courses anyway..she makes AOC sound intelligent

“USC would almost certainly be preparing to expel them...”

The president of USC: “ I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here.”

Tell that to the kids who qualified but weren't let in.

They had the new coach stop by and say: "Ok, tomorrow you row. All day."

He left a note for the daughter who was out being a "yacht girl".

Like I say, I really doubt USC turns away anybody who meets their academic threshold. It’s a very big school, and not hard to get into if you have decent grades

They’re still the University of Spoiled Children

No, they're still the University of Super Champions.

Really? At the very least, any graduate of those schools will be viewed a bit suspiciously, especially when they make humanly inevitable mistakes. It’s like insurance fraud or shoplifting from a big store. It hurts a large number of people a little. This doesn’t make it right.

Old saying:

If your rich and your kids are smart, sent them to Stanford.

If your rich and your kids are stupid, sent them to USC.

I don’t know how accurate this is.

I think it’s this: we all realize there are buckets set aside for colleges for certain groups: AA, legacy candidates, athletes, true scholars, etc.

These buckets are more or less accepted, but in none of this is cheating supposed to be happening. If someone gets a spot on a track team who wasn’t even an athlete in HS, that means someone else for that bucket was not offered that spot.

One of my kids runs distance track for the NCAA right now, Division 1. He loves his school and he’s in the right place, but what if Stanford may have offered him a running spot, but didn’t because a rich parent cheated and superimposed their kid’s head on an athlete’s body and sent in fake running times?

Who this scam screwed is not the average high schooler, but actual athletes set aside for the bucket of athletes. The fact that that bucket exists at all is another question. It might not be fair that it exists (my son would not have made it to that college via his grades/SAT alone), but at least the athletes had to actually be star athletes in HS to get recruited. That’s a lot of work, even if not academic work.

College coaches aren’t paid that much so perhaps they are easy to bribe unfortunately.

By the way not all college athletes are low IQ morons—track and field athletes collectively tend to have one of the highest GPA of all athletes I believe—perhaps that’s not saying much :)

Oh please. As if every school doesn’t show favoritism to the kids of big donors or wealthy alumni. This common practice somehow doesn’t taint the value of the graduates’ degrees

Because they're cowards.

If you read the documents their daughter wasn't scoring even the basic "low" standard for admittance which is why the parents went this route...they were concerned she was likely even below the low.
