Can we please make some attempt to reclaim the word "progressive"? Liberals have turned it into a synonym for socialism and there's no progress to be found in the failed policies of socialism - Stalin, Mao, Castro and the millions of the corpses they created can attest to that.

Yes, the same people who tell us we are racist, wouldn’t be caught dead with a black man or a Hispanic. They get away with it because most of them live in 99.99% white communities.

I confess to taking guilty pleasure at Boston’s race riots back in the day. Being told that life in the south was so intolerable for blacks they moved north for a better life was rote. Except they took their culture with them and soiled their new nest. And the racially enlightened northeast? Blacks and whites in the south get along better.

Yep, you nailed it. That's why they are all in the party of the KKK, the party that stood in schoolhouse doors blocking black children from entering (they resisted desegregation in Boston more than anyone did in the south), the party of soft bigotry of low expectations. Democrats are the original racists and remain so.
