LONDON — Britain's Parliament still can't agree on how to move forward on Brexit.
Four nonbinding measures that would have outlined a potential way forward on exiting the European Union all failed to gain a majority Monday.
The vote came after lawmakers last week rejected a withdrawal agreement proposed by Prime Minister Theresa May for a third time. Two of these votes were the largest and fourth largest losses in parliamentary history. Despite these defeats, May is reportedly considering putting her deal up for yet another vote in Parliament this week.
The options Parliament considered Monday included two proposals that aimed to retain close economic ties between Britain and the European Union. One would have kept the U.K. in a customs union for goods with the E.U. after Brexit, while another called for Britain to stay in the bloc's single market for both goods and services.
Another option wanted any Brexit deal to be submitted to a public referendum, and the fourth said Britain should cancel its departure from the E.U. if it comes within two days of crashing out of the bloc without an agreement.
Prime Minister Theresa May has said that she would step down if Parliament passes the deal she negotiated with the E.U.

The EU now seemed to be resigned to a WTO-Brexit. And they say they are “ready”.

It looks like the UK will crash out of the EU next Friday in a no deal Brexit.

It troubles me that it’s so obvious the only solution is a no-deal hard Brexit.
Quit playing around...otherwise the government automatically becomes a dictatorship, not representative of the citizenry.
People will start to behave, rightfully so, in a manner that doesn’t recognize the authority of the government.
Last week FReepers were claiming that there was a hard deadline of March 29. I laughed at them. Maybe they’ll surprise me in April. But I wouldn’t bet my own money on it.

People in more than 2/3 of the Parliamentary seats voted to leave.
Less than 1/3 of MPs supported leave.
This has always been the elites against the people - same as Trump.

You really should read the sentiment. The Brexit fiasco has only strengthened the pro EU sentiment as a lot of the Euromyths have been shown to be false over the past few months. Brexit has made the EU stronger
Britain needs a plan for
1. How it will deal with the fact that it made a promise in the 90s to keep the Irish border open yet it wants a hard border with the EU
2. How it will keep its just in time cross Europe supply chain open. How its services industry, which account for 80% of exports and mainly to the EU, how it will function.
3. How it will work with WTO rules abruptly clamping down on trade
4. What to do with millions of UK subjects in the EU and EU countries citizens in the UK
Hmmm. Why does it become a dictatorship if 52% voted one way and 48% the opposite. Technically Hilary won the most peoples vote but thank God we didn’t get her as President. Rejecting the simple majority doesn’t make a government dictatorial or not
So what happens next? The Cabinet will meet TOMORROW after MPs voted down every alternative to Brexit for a second week running

The Cabinet will meet tomorrow morning for a five hour marathon meeting to decide the fate of Brexit
MPs voted on four alternatives: a customs union, Norway-style soft Brexit, second referendum and revocation
All four motions were defeated - with the customs union plan closest to victory after it lost 276 to 273
A second referendum got most votes overall but lost by a bigger margin. MPs voted 292 to 280 votes
Tomorrow’s Cabinet is the next crucial step and MPs are scheduled to debate and vote again on Wednesday
If May pivots to soft Brexit, she will lose Brexiteer ministers. If she goes for No Deal, she loses Remainers
Britain must have a plan in place by an EU summit on April 10 next week if it wants to avoid No Deal on April 12
