Her mistake was “identifying” as a black *woman* - she should have claimed to be a black man, and then she could have pulled the “transphobia” card on them when they called her on it. What are they going to say, ‘okay, you’re a man but you’re not black?’ Right.

If the book was her only income and she had a household of three, she is close to the Washington state income limit for food stamps, which is just shy of 40k/yr. And the book money was probably not a steady stream.

Both Left and Right despise this woman; even the Lefties running SNAP won’t cut her a break.

“She’s a very intelligent and creative woman”

Many top mafioso have been very intelligent and creative folks; it is not a statement about character.

Did she go black to commit welfare-fraud?

If so, that’s racist!

I never quite understood the outrage over her faking blackness. If boys can be girls now (and vice versa), I don’t see why she could not identify as African American.

Oh, she’s creative alright! So creative she made up a completely bogus alter personality, race, name, hair, skin and life, then went on to rip off taxpayers to the tune of almost ten grand! She’s just an amazing and lovely client that has her whole life ahead of her and will prolly become the next great rap star or college graduate, counselor! Yay!

I wonder if Rachel has roots in central Minnesota? There were people with the name Dolezal living here in the late 19th century and early 20th century. It is an unusual name.
