A caller this morning on CSpan gave a litany of sins committed by the United States. If we all began to believe that there has been no redemption from them, why would we want to live in such a country?
Conservatives have been the guard rails on Society’s highway, keeping civilization from falling off the cliff, correcting ‘Progressives’ errors. What happens if we decide there’s no reason to pick up the pieces any more? Things will go slowly at first, then all at once. Could we become Zimbabwe, maybe?
If “reparations” are to be paid, after set-offs for (i) the increase in income they now make rather than what they would make if still in Africa, and (ii) amounts received for various welfare programs, and (iii) amounts we have incurred for the costs of crime for those who have committed them, and (iv) the benefits of quotas and affirmative action programs, how much would they owe the rest of us?
The fact these bozos cater to that race-baiting POS Al Sharpton (I know, I know, redundant) is enough that any self-respecting democrat should look very closely at the idiots running in their "party".

Preferential Hire and Afformative Action Reparations must, logically, follow.
Many people were blocked from many jobs. And that job blocking can be easily shown from company employment and tax records.

It’s the left’s racism that makes them believe this will work. And it’s the race hustler plantation overseers that will work hard to ensure it does.
There must be guilt provable in a court of law over the violation of some law on an individual basis. Just because you’re a racist and want all whites to blame for what some whites (and blacks) did over a century ago is a non-starter in our legal system. This will launch millions of civil suits to get the reparations monies BACK from obviously innocent peoples and they’ll win every case.
Sounds like the Democrats need to pay for the sins of their past.
Essentially, they are telling white voters loudly and clearly not to vote for them, then hoping enough of them are stupid enough (or hate Trump enough) to do it anyway. The Hillary Model from 2016.

The political careers of every one of the Democrats who endorse "reparations" must end.
We should discard "Affirmative Action" policies as well.
While they’re at it, they can also pay reparations for their attacks on Civil Rights activists and Republicans”

Good question. I suspect any legislated reparations will just further institutionalize a ALL give-away’s... like flesh eating conditions that NEVER cease consuming human flesh.
In the end, the ‘host’ organism will perish. But I guess that fact is SO unique to a genius like ME, that no one else can understand it. (sarc)

I find that very hard to believe.
If all whites must pay for what some whites did once, then it follows that all blacks must pay for what some blacks do every single day, not just in the past but right now today.
Of COURSE each and every one of them responded with a “hell yah,”
