FULL TITLE: George Mason University To Angry Students: Kavanaughs Teaching A Course For Us Whether You Like It Or Not
First Camille Paglias university stands up to students on her behalf, now this. Since when do universities resist the whims of the woke brigades?

If you find it gross that college students would support blackballing someone on the basis of a bare allegation, remember that thats how students themselves are treated on campus under Title IX. Guilty until proven innocent is academias version of due process when it comes to sexual misconduct. If you can destroy a young adults future on someones say-so in the name of zero tolerance for rape, surely you can deny a Supreme Court justice his summer side hustle for the same reason.
And before you ask: Yes, of course Bill Clinton has spoken at GMU before. In 2008, at a campaign event for Hillary, in fact.
Heres HuffPost reporting on a campus town hall held on Tuesday night by the universitys president and other officials to let students vent about their decision to hire Kavanaugh for a part-time teaching gig. Students wont even have to interact with him on campus: His summer class will be taught in England during July and August, when the Court and school arent in session. Even so, 10,000 people have signed a petition cancel his gig. The crowd on Tuesday night was aghast that administrators seemingly didnt share their disgust that GMU was about to employ someone accused of something terrible:

They will have to go to England to protest.
Good that the univ. is not giving in to a few nasty students.
I am sure there will be students who are interested and will take his class.
A tiny minority of Leftist would-be dictators, sought to dictate who could and couldn’t speak or teach.
George Mason University has its own police force. All they have to do is detain any ‘disruption kids’, and haul them in front of the administration folks for disciplinary action. The college could easily suspend you from classes for an entire year, or just dump you entirely. Go to ‘Dad’ after that and explain that your two years of study (with $80,000 spent) have been marginalized...you’ve been kicked out....and watch him explode over your stupid behavior.
If I ran the university I could not answer that question and keep my job.
Snowflakes, join the real world—it does not melt just because you want it to.
Wrote my Alma Mater, get your sh!t together or don’t beg for anymore cash from me.
You don’t have to take the class.
If the petition to stop Judge Kavanaugh from teaching a course FOR GMU this summer is a public one, someone put it on the internet for all to see.
I’d like to see the professors who signed it and what school/subject they teach in.
Then the student signers. I would want this list to be available to any business who is hiring GMU students/graduates so they can see who could be potential troublemakers, rabble-rousers and insider saboteurs if hired.
If you’ve got 10,000 anti- First Amendment assholes at GMU, the business world and public should know about them.
I wouldn’t hire a single one of them even if their grade point average was 4.0 because their “Defending Freedom” grade average would be zero, the same as any traitor’s would be.
Would seem like security would be a good idea
GMU, Walter E. Williams taught there if I recall correctly. Good for telling the students that they’ll let Justice Kavanaugh teach a course...
Good call GMU!
These people are “woke”? Yeah, like bowling team nicknames.
After one warning, schools should expel students who think they should be able to dictate every school policy based on their personal whims and biases.
And school officials who will not enforce basic good order should be fired immediately.
This childish nonsense could be ended very quickly.
Good for George Mason. Keep the flame of liberty burning GM !
