Skip to comments.Sally Yates: Trump would be indicted on obstruction of justice if he were not president

Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates said Sunday that President Trump would likely be indicted on obstruction of justice if he were not president.
Ive been a prosecutor for nearly 30 years and I can tell you Ive personally prosecuted obstruction cases on far, far less evidence than this," Yates, whom Trump fired after she refused to defend his travel ban targeting several Muslim-majority countries, said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
I believe if he were not the president of the United States he would likely be indicted on obstruction.
Yates's comments come a few weeks after the redacted report on special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was released to the public.
The probe did not uncover evidence of coordination between Trump's campaign and the Kremlin.

This one needs her very own cherry tree...
They’re coming after YOU, Sal!!
The boy is a serious Trump hater and Media operative against Trump and his administration:
She should be occuping a cell right next to Brennan.
Last I heard, someone was Sneakin Sally Through the Alley.
If you have (real) evidence, present it to the court of public opinion. Other wise you are nothing more than a co-conspirator in the coup attempt made by Hillary and her band of evil minions.
Yates? Never heard of her.
However, if Trump were not President, nobody would care if he colluded with the Russians or not! And if they never looked in to it, he would never have spoken to any investigator, so they couldn’t accuse him of covering up.
Yates should know all about obstruction since she was guilty of it HERSELF!
A leading member of the Resistance, who might end up resisting a hemp cravat...
There is exactly zero evidence of any illegal obstruction by pdjt. Zero in the public record. And Note that she didnt cite any secret evidence she might have. If shes prosecuted American citizens with less than zero evidence against them, she belongs in prison NOW for her abuse of prosecutorial authority
OK Sally, now do Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, James Comey, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Cheryl Mills..Im patient I will wait
First Hilly, now Sally .... both GUILTY of crimes, yet they dare lob guilty grenades at Trump? They’re evil witches, both of them & evidently, with the talking points they’re parroting, they belong to the same coven.
If he were not President he would be building hotels and not obstructing justice either.
Did you ever prosecute anyone for obstruction of the underlying issue turned out not to be a crime? This is what the neutral, non political Folks in the Justice department who you worked for have said!
Quit being a political hack, Sally!
Oath violators aplenty in Renegade’s administration. Many more across the past few decades in both “parties”. Just take a look at whomever (family included) became enriched while in or because of holding a political office. Pretty wide net, but it is probably pretty accurate.
Hang em all.
If he were not president there would not be any investigation to obstruct
What is REALLY SAD is that Republicans seem totally unable to learn from the tactics of the Left and instead of saying something similar about Brennan, for example, they’ll instead say something like ‘we’re not perfect, but we’re not quite as bad as those mean Democrats’.
Poor thing. All those years as a prosecutor, and this is all she has to show for it. Pitiful...
Repeating Hillary’s line ?
