The running joke about the legal profession is that the top law school students practice law, the average ones become law school professors, and the ones at the bottom of the class become judges.

There’s actually a fourth group. They are the quasi-humanoid mutants who go through law school eating urinal cakes and cleaning out portable toilets by hand. They are the ones who get out of law school and spend the rest of their lives in Congress.
