The subpoena was an exercise in futility. Jerrold Nadler knew it when he chose to go ahead with the piece of Kabuki theater we have been treated to, for lo these many months.
Correct but his actions are a grievous abuse of power which have pissed the wrong people off. We are going to crucify him.

Like hereditary kings, un-beholden presidents were to stand above factional disputes. Only then could they execute their sworn duty to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” without the encumbrance of paying off political debts.
