What Clapper hasn't figured out... The outcome of that investigation is going to be pretty damning towards the deep state, so why wait?
That investigation can't bring charges per say, only suggestions, so they may as well begin to ramp up the investigations that will result in prison time, etc.

Yet less than a month after the president was hammered for nothing for three years, at least, and there is supposed to be a substantial completed investigation already by the people that would have been investigated never even heard about and not brought up until Barr asked for it in May of this year?
