Just watched ABC news, local time 530, told the shooter’s name once, then referred to him as the “shooter “, never, not even once, showed his picture. Seven to eight minutes on the story, and another 5 or so on gun control, I guess they just didn’t have time to show his picture. Dewayne did not fit the narrative, this story hits the memory hole in 3...2...1...never happened.

Good question! In 1986 a friend of mine bought a nice brand new 2 door black Buick Century. Two weeks later it was stolen. The detective told him it most likely went to a chop shop that put a turbo on it and made it into a Grand Sport clone to be shipped to S. America or the Mid East. At that time those Buicks were more likely to be stolen than Corvettes.
