Had to be. A stout cigarette case could alter the path of a 9mm.

My dad told me about a guy he knew who took a couple 9mm rounds to the chest in the Ardennes, and thought it hugely unfair that two to the chest wasn’t a million dollar wound, even though a bandoleer and heavy clothing and a can of food saved him, at least that time.

Kilo was a Marine for 2+ years... He broke his sternum in a mountain bike accident... And got a medical discharge... He never deployed into any combat theater. He probably gets a disability check still... I don’t think he qualifies as a Scotty
