DONALD TRUMP May Bring Back Steve Bannon for 2020 CAMPAIGN, book claims: ...

Donald Trump may bring back Steve Bannon for 200 campaign, book claims: 'Nobody says anything better about me." (full title)

President Donald Trump is toying with the idea of bringing former strategist Steve Bannon back into the fold to help fight his 2020 re-election bid, according to a new book to be published next week.

In The Best People: Trump's Cabinet and the Siege on Washington, author Alexander Nazaryan suggests the president has not ruled out reinstating the right-wing idealogue credited with the success of Trump's insurgent 2016 run to the Oval Office.... the new publication relies heavily on interviews with Bannon himself.

However, Nazaryan also spoke with the president, who appeared open to the idea of re-hiring the firebrand. ~snip~

Nazaryan... quoted the president as saying he had "watched Bannon ... four or five times...Nobody says anything better about me right now than Bannon." "I will say this," Trump continued. "Bannon, there is nobody that has been more respectful of the job I'm doing than Steve Bannon." Any return for Bannon would mark a striking recovery....~snip~

Bannon's recent dismissal of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's findings may have helped his cachet with Trump. ..."It looks like they have nothing" on the president, and predicted Trump was "going to go full animal...come off the chains" and "use [the report] to bludgeon" his opponents.~snip~

Since leaving the White House, Bannon has been attempting to spread his far-right populist message to Europe, and create a network of anti-establishment parties across the continent to challenge the European Union.

His work has been frustrated by European election law and local skepticism, and he is currently facing eviction from a medieval Italian monastery where he is trying to establish a far-right boot camp to train politicians to fight against globalism.

So Steve is supposedly running a Euro "Far-right-wing-Bootcamp" out of a medieval Italian monastery, who knew!

Wonder what he calls his training camp?

So cool. It’s true. Steve’s got an anti-globalist “Gladiator School.”

I’d like to see him back. Hopefully, he has learned not to diss the President anymore.

I’ve been thinking and saying Bannon should be back on the team. Trump is gonna need him when the commie machine REALLY gets going.

“Bannon has been attempting to spread his far-right populist message to Europe, and create a network of anti-establishment parties across the continent to challenge the European Union.”

Despite the tone of this story I would say Bannon is having a good deal of success.

Bannon is a bombastic, self absorbed, widely loathed person who gets things done. He is perfect for the Trump team on a project by project basis.

Perhaps Steve has a role as a consultant- on the team.

Brad Parscale is running the Trump 2020 Campaign.

Bannon is a true believer. He shouldn’t have been fired in the first place.

Bannon is a loon, but he does seem to have an uncanny ability to see the level of unrest in the general population.

Bannon also has an ability to animate many members of that disaffected population. The focus on illegal immigration and the wall were Bannon’s idea.

Finally, Bannon is bold. Don’t forget, Bannon founded Citizens’ United, and made the Hillary Clinton film just to take McCain-Feingold to the SCOTUS.

So many of the conservative chattering class were writing about an emerging populist movement in the wake of the 2012 election, but no one had a clue how to leverage it.

The problem with Bannon is success goes to his head. He also wants to keep fighting after he has won.

If Bannon is leveraged as an advisor or consultant, and not allowed to be in a leadership position, he could add value.

So does my president.

Fighting and winning.

Bannon has helped Salvini and Le Pen win elections in Europe. I say bring back the beast. Also bring back Corey. No more Mr. nice guy. Economic nationalism is on the rise and Steve Bannon is the man.

Did he ever disown the backstabbing things he was quoted to have said about Trump?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump were just dangling the ‘maybe’ to keep Steve in line.

I would have Steve do a movie on San Francisco plus Seattle and Los Angeles. Something Kellyanne Conway should’ve done last year.

Hmm. Last week on the Randy Corporon show I said,
“I would not be surprised if Trump doesn’t bring back Bannon for the campaign.”

Sounds like Steve Bannon himself is the source for this Yahoo news reporter’s book...go figure.
