You are probably more accurate but the net effect is similar.
I thought of the dame that died at Manchester from ingesting a small amount of coke (1 gram) by swallowing it.
Maybe cocaine is that hard to get once in Dubai, but from the stories that I heard from folks that lived in the British Compound in Saudi, I suspect not.

Strangely, it is often overseas that is described as like the US in the 50sand 60s.

"Free fentanyl for all I say."
That kind of possible solution has crossed the minds of many. At least allow Mr. Chinaman to send the anime zombies a new drug that would make them all more quickly and surely impotent, sterile, imbecilic and docile. That way, their presence might be tolerated and allowed for a little longer.

I just read the Telegraph interview piece about Bryony Gordon and find her honesty with her husband to be respectable and admirable. Decades ago, a late night talk show host asked an older celebrity what he would want the most from a wife. “The truth,” the actor replied.
Most others continue to seek thrills from vices and to indulge in a hatred that accumulates with falsely blaming others for their own insatiability and diseased brains. It appears that Bryony has escaped from the mire.
And as for the issue of obesity (mentioned in the article) and its importance to physical and mental health, move, and keep moving, people. Exercise in every way that you can imagine, and do it many times each day. Don’t rely too much on exercise prescriptions or routines. Simply move, and keep moving in whatever ways you can.

Nice comments. The question still stands...
Who appointed Bryony Gordon as spokesperson for everybody?

My answer: no one. She only speaks for a very few like herself.

She only speaks for a very few like herself. (can't the others speak for themselves? and who made her their spokesperson?)
Really? You actually get that out of that article?
"It destroys lives. It tends to lead to people searching for the next high, and all normal reservations come down.
These are blanket statements, not statements about her and a very few others "like herself" as you put it.
Amended - It destroyed my life. It tended to lead me to search for the next high, and all my normal reservations came down.
And again - "It makes you inherently risky and you don't care about the consequences until the next day."
Amended - It made me inherently risky and I didn't care about the consequences until the next day."
You see, if she were speaking for herself her comments would have been vastly different.
Sorry, but I'm not buying what you're selling.

I see what you were getting at now. So you disagree with her statement about cocaine as quoted below.
“She said: ‘It destroys lives. It tends to lead to people searching for the next high, and all normal reservations come down. It makes you inherently risky and you don’t care about the consequences until the next day.’”

The Difficult, Devious, And Dangerous DialecticOne Sunday afternoon, by a peculiar accumulation of circumstances, I found myself speaking from the Communist platform in the Domain in Sydney, Australia. The Sydney Domain, a lovely park adjacent to the Sydney harbor, is possibly the world's greatest open forum. To this park each Sunday afternoon come all those with a message, real or imaginary, and there they harangue the passing throng. People gather in the thousands. The Communists always have a large, well organized meeting. As I spoke from the Communist platform, I mentioned Dialectical Materialism, whereupon the Communists leader challenged me. "What is Dialectical Materialism?" he asked. I replied, "Dialectical Materialism is the philosophy of Karl Marx that he formulated by taking the dialectic of Hegel, marrying it to the materialism of Feuerbach, abstracting from it the concept of progress in terms of the conflict of contradictory, interacting forces called the Thesis and the Antithesis culminating at a critical nodal point where one overthrows the other, giving rise to the Synthesis, applying it to the history of social development, and deriving therefrom an essentially revolutionary concept of social change." The questioner looked at me with wide-open eyes. I added, "Don't blame me. It is your philosophy, not mine. You are the one who believes it."
Delphi Technique
The Delphi Technique is based on the Hegelian Principle of achieving Oneness of Mind through a three step process of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. In thesis and antithesis, all present their opinion or views on a given subject, establishing views and opposing views. In synthesis, opposites are brought together to form the new thesis. All participants are then to accept ownership of the new thesis and support it, changing their own views to align with the new thesis. Through a continual process of evolution, Oneness of Mind will supposedly occur. The theory of the Delphi and the reality of the Delphi are, obviously, quite different the reality being that Oneness of Mind does not occur but only the illusion of Oneness of Mind with those who refuse to be Delphi 'd being alienated from participating in the process.
I do not wish to be assimilated into your Oneness of Mind, thank you very much.
