I understand the sort of power SalesForce has once someone adopts their product suite. I know that in part due to what some of the legislators in Indiana who were against the bill to protect religious stances against SJW antics had to say when they were arguing against passage of the bill.
The whole thing was pretty much a tempest in a teapot as far as the national media was concerned and my wife receiving articles and comments from a friend of hers is the only way I heard much about the bill while it was in the State Legislature.
If Pence didn't understand the points about what powers they were challenging by passing such a bill and his signing it, that's a different sort of black mark on his performance as Governor, not entirely moral cowardice like his caving in seems to be IMHo (and everyone has one).
Whether it's a moral failing or a failure of his executive attentiveness, either way, once it was signed he should have forced the Legislature to override his veto of any repeal. His not doing so after having initially having signed the bill is an example of betraying his base.
As this article states, there are competitors to SalesForce and I can assure you they're well versed in smoothing the transition from SalesForce to their product. All those competitors are constantly presenting SalesForce users with reasons to switch and assurances that the transition will be fairly painless so at least for me, the market weight of SalesForce wasn't sufficient reason for a man who takes price in his Christian image to bow down to a California queer flying in and making threats. It's not like the twit threatening the State lived there, had ever lived there, or was moving a large number of workers to the State but the people of the State sure did play second fiddle to California values in an instance specifically intended to resist those values.
Pence disenfranchised the people of the State he was Governor of, to me, it's that simple. For me, that's pretty tough to excuse since it is essentially telling the people of the State that their will takes a back seat to the will of whatever leftist ideal someone or someones with a wad of cash prefers.
Like I say, everyone has an opinion, the above is mine.
I don't think so, exactly like Romney.
I'd like to see him grow a pair after working with Trump, but I'd have to see some significant proof of a change before I'd trust him to not wither when it get a bit warm.
Bernie got cleaned up for this presentation with a haircut. No mad scientist look,
“Benioff? Salesforce? That’s what I love about FReep; it’s a daily education. I keep up with stuff; but I’ll swear, I’d never heard of him.”
My take on it too. So many snakes in the grass I can’t keep up with it all. FR is always enlightening!
“Like a lot of people, you probably just accepted Pence based on what his promoters were saying.”
That’s unfair. The article is about this Benioff creep, not about Pence. You have some background on the this - that can be helpful. But you don’t have to be snarky.
Do you live in Indiana?
No, I have a cousin who was working on a contract there when this bill was passed and then its repeal were a issue.

So in his ‘mind’, “economic consequences” == “not getting to do business with fascist panty waist control freaks, too stupid to know they’re stupid”?? Damn, how will we ever survive?
Oh, and which fascists want you to host your business data on their servers?
I don’t know about goats, but this is excellent for dogs.
I have used it for years.
Yeah, I did a search and have their website open in a tab. Seems like I searched for it before and didn’t find anything. I saw a youtube video for it and it does pretty much any animal, including goats. Looked pretty decent. I’ll go ahead and download it.
Thanks
Sure sounds like Corporate Authoritarianism to me...drifting closer to the New World Order.....
As for this creep .... giving that much money to the the Clintons he has to be a crook!
You are a lot more polite than that post deserved. I salute you.
Many companies are dumping sales force as a crm, because it stinks.
Thanks. There are some real jackwagons on here; but most are like you.
