New information regarding Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kevin McAleenan is raising questions about his commitment to the Trump administration.
Fox News had reported that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) raids, slated to begin last Sunday after months of planning, had to be canceled due to the plans being leaked to The Washington Post.
That someone, according to Fox News and The Washington Examiner, was allegedly McAleenan himself.
The Washington Examiner also uncovered McAleenan’s past political donations and found he has a track record of supporting Democratic candidates.
Since 2008, McAleenan has given almost entirely to Democrat candidates and causes, even donating money to the DNC itself, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. He has given money to multiple PACs that were working for the election and re-election of former president Barack Obama. Records show that he even gave money towards the election of Hillary Clinton.

Trump needs to get his damned act together when it comes to making appointments.
Trust NO ONE from the Swamp! Choose supporters from Red States on whose loyalty you can count.
Even that is no guarantee.
Once they taste the DC Swamp waters they are hooked..................

Seems grounds for getting snuffed by his own troops. If true, he put them in real danger.
Trump does need to run closer checks on the loyalty of his crew. It would be so simple to just look at their political loyalty and at least question it.
Beside picking them up Check the precinct list of registered voters where these people resided. If they’re on that list, Federal crime, charge them and those that enabled them to vote knowing they were illegals. If need be work with the DOJ
Delay gives pervocrats time to clean up voter lists and remove illegals names from. Election fraud is what also should be looked at before kicking them out
Do they not check political contributions when they vet someone for a nomination?
Who is doing the vetting of these appointees? Larry, Curly,or Moe?

If it’s me I have my entire team lined-up and ready to go on Day One. I fire the top 3 to 4 layers of the bureaucracy on 1/21/2017 and put my own people in place.
This is SOP in Corporate America. I’m stunned a guy like Trump appears to not know the drill.
I suspect the “leaded” info is a negotiating tactic in the faceoff with the House.
Our system isn’t (thankfully) designed for transformation by one man. Obama’s relative success revealed the endemic corruption of our institutions.
It is up to us, We the People through Article V to assist the President’s heavy lifting. He can’t do it alone.
The problem is who to trust! There are swamp dwellers in the Republican party as well. Things are so corrupt, not a single agency could be trusted. Not the DOJ, not DHS, not IRS, not FBI, not CIA, etc. Most of Congress is Swamp. Just who do you pick under the circumstances?
Article V still scares the crap out of me because our population is utterly ignorant of the Constitution.
Everybody who wants their student loans forgiven is going to show up at an Article V convention. Then it will be all downhill from there.
