What’s your game? The Atlantic picked its subjects to slam the President. These bike companies never made anything in the USA to begin with. I would not expect them to do so now. World manufacturing is changing. America will take advantage of those changes.

“What’s your game? ”

My game is MAGA. That means, I’m my understanding, creating manufacturing jobs in America. New jobs for Vietnam or Hungary or Malaysia is nice for them, but it’s not MAGA

Russia’s a petro-state, with a GDP slightly less than New York State.

They are holding a very weak economic hand.

Because it economically injures our enemy China, and thus serves our national interests.

Now China can build up it’s military while it’s citizens experience poverty.

That’s a hallmark of Communist/Socialist countries.

"Libertarians have infected this web site as well the GOPe in general. they have no allegiance to any nation or creed except GREED.
They will trade with the devil so shave 2 cents on the dollar."

Wow! Is this the opening shot of "Flame Wars II" only 20-years after the great "Flame Wars I" ??

I'm probably too old to enlist this time...

The main problems with this FW2 are:

There may not be any popcorn for watching FW2... I will wear my medals from FW1 while watching the bloodshed and chaos...

“Ok we get it. You’re like broken record with you anti-Trump shit.”

I supported Trump from the moment he came down the escalator, and continued while most or many Freepers were on the Cruz caravan. I supported Trump for the MAGA agenda. Getting more cheap jobs to Thailand is the Bush (and Cruz?) and Chamber of Commerce agenda. It’s not MAGA

When manufacturers start moving their factories from China to the US, contact me and I’ll start cheering

Agriculture is a minuscule part of GDP. It is only 2-3% of the ENTIRE GDP. It is just not that important.

When are these manufacturing jobs going to be shifted back to the US?

If that is not happening then the tariff is too low.

We need a higher tariff.

We have to force state-less globalist corporatists to make things here. We have to force them to make behavioral changes. Tariffs are the way to do it.

Nothing in my posted response has anything to do with the point you are making... Your facts may be correct, but do not have any bearing on: "There may not be any popcorn for watching FW2..."

No, the tariff has to be expanded, to cover any US manufacturing done in cheap labor Third world countries. The Chinese aren’t stealing our jobs, it’s our fat cat greedy CEOs who are voluntarily sending our jobs to slave wage Third World countries They can’t be allowed to evade tariffs by shifting their manufacturing from China to another Third World place. They need to bring the jobs to Michigan, not Malaysia. That’s what MAGA means

First step is to unilaterally remove the USA from both the WTO and the UN.

The WTO was set up to codify and justify the practice of world wide mercantilism against the American worker. THIS BS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what the NASA guys who overruled the Morton-Thiokol engineers who warned against launching the Space Shuttle Challenger in cold weather thought. The O-Rings just weren't that important.

How did that turn out?
