Good morning, E...((HUGS))...dying of the heat up heat and praying for rain. Fires everywhere, and Wednesday right here in the middle of town.

Did you and Gizmo has cool enough weather to get out and explore?

I’ve not heard a single fireworks. Maybe folks have taken to heart how dry we are, and just had a fire right here in the middle of town.

Today is always a local double header and then the official town fireworks, but even they have been banned. ALL fireworks are banned because of the fire danger.

I’ll bet it seemed odd not to hear any fireworks on the 4th. I did hear them here. There is usually a large “official” one and people all over town ignore the banned-in-town law. I think even the cops just look away so people can have their fun....unless they become obnoxious about it.

I hope you don’t have any more fires. That had to be a pretty scary scenario...who knew where it would spread to.
