Exactly. You’d have to know precisely the details of his death to assert what is fake or not. The author doesn’t know and therefore can’t make such assertions.
It’s just like media reporting something as “not terrorism” five minutes after something happens, or stating that the Clinton Foundation gives all their money to charities. How do you know? They can’t know unless they have deep inside information, which they don’t.
I dismiss any reporting that claims to know something unknowable - which is quite often.
I was thinking the same thing and, saw a few headlines this morning for this article on my phone. Me thinks that if Spikey is writing an article on a murder that three quarters of the population probably don't know about, somebody is close to refuting the initial motive for the murder with evidence or, it serves some other purpose for something coming down the road. Nothing is coincidental with these scum.
I think also he was also the first “reporter” to write about the Steele dossier. He was fed the info by FBI/CIA published it without naming sources so the FBI could use it as supporting evidence for the FISA request.

Meanwhile, Seth Rich’s murder remains unsolved and the media seems quite eager to keep it that way. The lede isn’t how the Russians planted a story, it’s that Seth Rich was murdered.
Personally, I figured he was playing Pokemon Go all night and wandered through a neighborhood he shouldn’t have. A lot of stuff about him leaking files to wikileaks could be true and it still be a random act of violence.
