A “Yahoo News investigation.”

Wasn’t David Corn also doing the 1st reporting too?

Wouldn’t surprise me. That guy is as despicable as they come. Commie to the core.
Fake but accurate?
I read “Michael Isikoff” and new to move on.
My guess is he has been employed by Billary, Inc. to try to help continue to deep six any legitimate investigation into Seth Rich’s death.
Isikoff’s article presents a different “conspiracy theory” than what many of us might have entertained. He claims “the Russians” planted a story wherein Seth Rich had a meeting scheduled with the FBI to blow the whistle on Hillary/DNC corruption, but was killed the night before. This scenario is not plausible (why would Seth Rich be out on the town until 3-4am if he had an FBI meeting the next morning?).
But the conspiracy theory that has a lot of traction because it makes sense with other evidence, has always been that Seth Rich, pissed because his fave Bernie was being cheated by the DNC, downloaded a trove of emails onto a USB drive, and passed them along to Wikileaks. John Podesta wrote that “someone has to be made an example of”. Isikoff omits to mention this. Podesta’s wording implies he believed insiders were responsible — he was hardly going to make an example of anonymous GRU personnel in Russia. Either Podesta, Hillary, or others arranged a hit, lured Rich to meet his killers in the dead of night, and indeed made an example of him.
So why is Isikoff trying to mislead readers, and taint by association, the “real” conspiracy theory that is more credible than what he attributes to the Russians? Why now? It almost gives me hope that truth is trying to sneak out (perhaps from Assange?) and the DNC gang ordered Isikoff to muddy the waters as a pre-emptive strike.
The comments after the article at Yahoo show the readers are not fooled.
Michael Isikoff helped Fusion GPS distribute the original Steele disinformation.
Seymour Hersh says one of his sources showed him the FBI’s files on the Rich murder. It says that Rich was in contact with Wikileaks and that the crime scene investigators thought the killing looked like a botched robbery, with Rich’s watch being damaged during an attempt at self-defense.
BINGO!
