The government has made it nearly impossible for the restaurant industry to hire Americans . Americans can sit on their fat lazy asses and get ebt , housing and everything else . There’s no incentive to work in our industry when you can make almost as much not working. Also American college kids and high school kids have never been lazier . They don’t work either . If it wasn’t for J1 students from over seas I’d be out of business as would many in my tourist area of NH. Eastern Europeans work so much harder than Americans. Should have an option to trade citizens with other countries . Don’t blame the restaurants who are just trying to survive as we collect room and meals taxes and other bullshit that has nothing to do with us. I’m 40 and a proud American who owns a small restaurant. My best help is mostly immigrants here with either a green card or temp work visa . Wish I could keep them! Don’t slams the restaurants they have no choice and they are paying these people just as much if the worker was American because the work force is so thin . 🇺🇸

Maybe, just maybe letting those who know they’ve either skipped out on those asylum hearings and others who know they have orders to be deported, might just skip out, heading out to “visit” their relatives they’ve been wiring $$$$ to for some time, ahead of the raids.

Wishful thinking I know but the traitors in the various agencies to the Trump Administration are going to “leak” the once secret raids anyway, why stop proceeding since Trump gave Pelosi & Schumer two (2) weeks to get it straightened out and all they would do I was to stall for more time and call everyone involved, except the illegal aliens, rotten names, time to blow the whistle!

Check your neighborhood Home Depot/lumberyard/other area for day labor pickups, and see how many illegals are hanging around.

I know in the last week or so, I've seen fewer of the "little men" (costume: sweatshirt with hoodie over baseball cap, backpack, T-shirt, jeans) in my immediate neighborhood. I used to see more.
