Demons try to cause disruption and create extreme negative emotion in a person as that creates an opening in their soul for the demon to enter.

The movie Exorcist is very accurate in many ways. The dark spirit will try many tricks to create fear in me. If it is successful, I get stung as it enters me and then I must focus on God in Prayer until the Light forces it out.
