My mom was all for the gov’t doing everything. My dad was conservative as his father started a business and had to deal with gov’t and the teamsters.
When my parents retired they started 3 business’s over the years. She soon became conservative after dealing with gov’t red tape and employees.
The real world will turn kids into conservatives.

My short answer would be: They’ll have a lower standard of living than previous generations through no fault of their own. The worst part of this angle is how high they are taxed to pay for older peoples’ standard of living, while single-family homes, private automobiles, and families seem beyond their reach. They see so many retirees with a higher standard of living than they’ll attain themselves by working.
I was told about this decreased standard of living decades ago in college (and it has played out, because I opted for all three things mentioned above); it is worse today because The Great Replacement was just getting underway back then. Instead of just having adult foreigners appear on your street or in your workplace, nowadays young people sit in classrooms with them from Day 1.

Four: False religion. The left is secular, the right is religious. When people abandon a traditional morality they feel obligated to substitute it with something else. Our moral nature needs that. The left takes advantage of that need and presents its young socialist with the false virtues of making the planet more important than human beings--even so far that the microbial world is more significant that human beings. That is the new sacrifice they demand.
