<>Gender neutral single stall bathrooms are fine.<>
Sure, but when IL government can’t protect the lawful from the lawless, when it can’t resist taxing the productive into oblivion, when it is on a fiscal course that is certain to end in ruin and does nothing about these pressing issues and more . . . it pretends it is doing something worthwhile like this silly gender-neutral bathroom law.
Having worked in many a public accommodation, I can tell you without a doubt that women’s restrooms are several orders of magnitude WORSE than most men’s rooms.
Pee on the seat is a small thing compared to what else goes on in there. Really.
Three posts saying the same thing?
We get it!
You’re a woman who hates sitting in pee.
Look before you sit. Could be a tarantula sitting there on the seat.
No, you shouldn’t have to wipe someone else’s pee off the seat.
Not my problem. I’ve got 5 older, red headed sisters so I’m well trained. In nasty public rest rooms, I raise the seat with my foot and flush the toilet with my foot also. You might want to use your foot to flush as well since I was standing on the floor that likely got peed on.
My house has 3 gender neutral bathrooms. Currently only used by XX and XY. No fake genders so far.
Put the seat down if you plan on sitting down, but leave it up for the next person.
Correct.
Illinois is #1 in State Government Debt. #1 in Unfunded State Pensions. #1 in residents moving out. #1 in High Tax rate both County and State. #1 in Fuel Tax for Truckers. And this is what Gov Jelly Belly is working on - Transgender Bathrooms...
Stalls in bath rooms get it?.
I had a job where I had to clean the restrooms in a busy grocery store. My experience was that the women’s was consistently in worse shape, with occasional vindictive messes as well as the general problem of more things going on than merely peeing and pooping. Not as consistently bad as say a men’s truck stop bathroom on the highway, but much much worse than I would have supposed as a guy before I started cleaning a women’s public bathroom.

That’s my experience. Completely turned my expectations around. With more places going to the single occupancy set up I think a lot of people are going to be pretty shocked. I know I was, ha.
