Two years ago Seattle's City Council unanimously passed an income tax on high earners. But the 2.25 percent tax on total income above $250,000 for individuals, and $500,000 for married couples has yet to be imposed because of the legal battle against it. Now a The Washington State Court of Appeals ruling gives City of Seattle the legal authority to impose an income tax. However, Seattle's income tax has to be uniform across all tax brackets. It would need to be applied evenly across every household, regardless of what they make yearly, in accordance to the State's Constitution. Now Seattle may try to rewrite the State's Constitution or slam all of Seattle's residents with an income tax. This ruling gives other cities in Washington State the go-ahead to impose city income taxes. Thanks to Seattle's Tax-a-RATs.
Vote the Seattle City Council incumbents OUT!
Vote out these incumbents:
District 1: Lisa Herbold
District 3: Kshama Sawant
District 5: Debora Juarez

It’s kind of like trying to figure out a movie script when everyone is bitten and turns into a vampire. Who do they bite, now? Getting closer to soylent green aren’t they as they nibble at each other?

Few decades ago I worked at 1st and Denny. Transients from the mission just down a bit were commonplace and harmless.

“Being a progressive means making progress’’. That is without a doubt one of the most staggering contradictions in terms I’ve ever heard.
