U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., has unfollowed President Donald Trump on Twitter in the wake of attacks on Democratic congress members.
“I’m unfollowing the President of the United States today on Twitter, because his feed is the most hate-filled, racist, and demeaning of the 200+ I follow, and it regularly ruins my day to read it,” Murphy tweeted Sunday morning. “So I’m just going to stop. I can’t believe I just typed that.”
Democrats have condemned several of the presidents’ recent tweets as racist.
Two weeks ago, Trump tweeted four Democratic congresswomen of color should “go back … (to) the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
On Saturday, Trump attacked a majority-black Baltimore area district represented by Rep. Elijah Cummings, a black congressman. In a tweet, Trump called the district a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess,” claiming it was “so sad” that Cummings has “done nothing but milk Baltimore dry.”

Republicans interviewed by Hearst Connecticut Media earlier this month also said Trump’s tweets about the congresswomen were not racist.

Oh my I’m sure the President is completely torn up about his decision to unfollow him on Twitter. Yet U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn. remains a twit nonetheless.
I correct myself. They are urban rats. They get in their neighbors’ garbage.

No bias there. The President’s tweets were not racist. They were honest.
Truth is messy!
Murphy evidently believes that blacks are vastly inferior and cannot be treated as equals, which includes being criticized.
Sounds like racism to me.
