Most of the German Lutherans, back in the 1930's, were no different. They didn't have the courage to call the Nazis what they really were, because National Socialism was widely accepted by their culture. Parts of the American church are doing exactly the same thing, today, and the results may be no different...
So may of them. MSM, Church, entertainment, edu and those they’ve trained up, more than half of pols etc, plus it’s global which is what they believed they were going to accomplish. A New World Order of socialism/communism.
What’s the future hold
i love to see some of these national “sanctuary” organizations sued out of existence the next time they harbor some psychopathic killer who slaughters some innocent family ...
ELCA has always been known as the “Lunatic Lutherans”.
He didn’t build that!!! (Stupid Senatur Warren)
Ping for later
This makes the Lutheran Church enemies of the American people.
Joining the Catholic Church.
I just finished printing new location notices for a weekly meeting I’ve been holding at an ELCA church. I’m not going to contribute to them aiding and abetting invaders. I really didn’t know much about them when I “rented” the room (involuntary voluntary donation). Their stance goes completely against scripture.
There are already at least a couple of ELCA parishes in our area that have spaces designed for illegals to live in.
PHOOEY!!!!
Time for the ELCA song!
The 1st one not that junk
Thou shalt not steal
Cant be clearer
Exactly how Minneapolis got colonized by Somalis, with Catholic Charities playing a supporting role.
Peter will already know. God knows the heart, and I’m sure he informs Peter.
I’ll let Charles post his version.
This is mine from well over a decade ago:
Church man, there’s no need to feel down.
I said, church man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, church man, ‘cause you’re in a new town
There’s no need to be unhappy.
Church man, there’s a place you can go.
I said, church man, when your truths you dont know.
You can pray there, and I’m sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
You can get yourself preened, you can have Gods good meal,
You can do whatever you feel ...
Church man, are you listening to me?
I said, church man, what do you want to be?
I said, church man, you can make real your dreams.
But you got to know this one thing!
No man does it all by himself.
I said, church man, put your pride on the shelf,
And just go there, to the E-L-C-A.
Their Gospel can help you today
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
You can get yourself preened, you can have Gods good meal,
You can do whatever you feel ...
Church man, I was once in your shoes.
I said, I was down and out with the blues.
I felt no man cared if I were alive.
I felt the whole world was so tight ...
That’s when someone came up to me,
And said, church man, take a walk up the street
There’s a place there called the E-L-C-A.
They can turn your back on The Way.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
It’s fun to pray at the E-L-C-A.
They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...
E-L-C-A... you’ll find it at the E-L-C-A.
Church man, church man, there’s no need to feel down.
Church man, church man, get yourself off the ground.
E-L-C-A ... you’ll find it at the E-L-C-A.
Especially good to hear that there are still solid Methodist churches—not any here. And that there is a woman pastor who is good. Sadly, personally I have yet to meet a female pastor who is actually a Christian. Even though they seem to be the majority in the mainline churches now.
IRS needs to take a look at ELCA’s tax exemption status. As in it no longer qualifies.
I should have read further downthread....you beat me! I totally agree and you said it better.
I’ll have to say that I was never impressed with any female clergy until I met this one. I think that opening the door to women generally has been a disaster theologically and in every other way. But this one, and another UMC pastor I knew from a neighboring town, are both first-class in every way — just as good as any male pastors I have known.
I guess if they are going to have female clergy, then they need to accept those who belief in and will preach fundamental Christian doctrine and not feminism or Marxism or whatever with a Christian veneer. Let’s face it — there are plenty of male clergy who aren’t worth a rip either.
The ELCA is not Lutheran and they are not Christian. They are an apostate Sunday social club
