The ‘Chick-fil-A effect’ is boosting targets of Dem harassment of Trump donors

Hysterical Democrats, driven mad by Trump Derangement Syndrome, are generating sympathy (and money) for those whom they attack for supporting Donald Trump.  The threatened boycott of Equinox and SoulCycle because a major stockholder, Stephen Ross, held a fundraiser yesterday for the Trump 2020 campaign, has the best prospects of succeeding because their clientele is heavily skewed to affluent urban millennials.  But so far, the only tangible result is that it (along with a second event also held in The Hamptons) was more successful than anticipated. Brett Samuels reports in The Hill:

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said President Trump on Friday raised $12 million at two high-dollar fundraisers in the Hamptons.

The president attended two fundraisers on Friday afternoon before heading to his New Jersey golf club for a weeklong vacation. Reports had suggested the fundraisers would yield $10 million for Trump's reelection effort.

One of the fundraisers was hosted by Stephen Ross, the owner of the Miami Dolphins and the chairman of The Related Companies, which owns a majority stake in SoulCycle and Equinox.

"Thanks to unhinged mobs on the left, @realDonaldTrump raised $12M today, $2M more than originally expected," McDaniel tweeted.

Thanks to the unhinged mob on the left, @realDonaldTrump raised $12M today, $2M more than originally expected.

The support for our President is unprecedented and growing! — Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) August 9, 2019

Meanwhile, in San Antonio, where Rep. Joaquin Castro publicized the names of Trump donors, one of the targets of his ire is experiencing a huge boost in business.  Jim Hoft writes in Gateway Pundit:

Castro’s disgusting political hit list resulted in unintended consequences.

Business at Bill Miller’s BBQ is exploding!

Now, if the very same people that are supporting CFA, Bill Millers, etc. would boycott places like Starbucks, Chipotle and other liberal/Marxist organizations we might have something.

So, how long before volunteer (i.e., paid for by radical leftists) protestors and trouble makers start showing up at Chik-Fil-A locations and other businesses that don’t lean left? I hear there is an opportunity tomorrow at both Chik-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby for major protests. :-)

“Now, if the very same people that are supporting CFA, Bill Millers, etc. would boycott places like Starbucks, Chipotle and other liberal/Marxist organizations we might have something.”

Boycotts usually don’t work without implied, or explicit, threats. There simply aren’t enough warriors on either side*.

However, BUYcotts can and do work. Early in Rush’s days there was a steak house, I think in Northern Florida, that was under attack for supporting Rush, by having a “Rush Room” (where they played his show during lunch). Rush was like, “we can’t let that succeed”, so he commanded his masses there, and packed the place non-stop, for weeks.

That is something we can do, and it’s certainly working with Chick-a-Fill and now Bill Millers (which I plan to get to the next time I’m in San Antonio or Austin).

*the one exception seems to be when a company attacks its base of supporters, like Gillette telling men to ‘get woke’, or Dicks being, well, dicks, at least when it comes to guns, or Yeti (coolers). But if the business has a strong level of support from Leftists, we’re essentially wasting our time trying to boycott - it won’t affect them, even though I concede that it still feels good not to give them our money.

Chick fil A has become the leading fast food franchise despite years of liberal harassment!

You mean like, say, Air America?

“You mean like, say, Air America?”

Exactly, we could boycott Air America all we want, but then we were never going to listen to them anyway. So they lived or died based on whether they could keep white Leftists entertained (blacks have their own radio stations, and so do Hispanic speaking people).

But even white Leftists have limits regarding how much white-guilt and white-hatred they can take, so that was their downfall.

According to a recent BuzzFeed report (via restaurant consultancy Technomic), Chick-fil-A is on track to eclipse the likes of Burger King, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s over the next two years. If that happens, it will be the third-largest fast-food chain in the world (behind only McDonald’s and Starbucks). To put the company’s success in perspective, BuzzFeed points out that an average Chick-fil-A location pulls in $4 million in annual sales, compared to $2.5 for a McDonald’s. (And remember: Chick-fil-As are all closed on Sundays, meaning they make that while operating six days a week.) Last year, the company reported $9 billion in sales, up more than $1 billion in 2016. With that kind of money, the restaurant chain is opening about 100 new stores per year, including new locations in Manhattan. (A fifth location opened near Grand Central in March.)* Just last week, in fact, the company launched the largest Chick-fil-A (ever) in New York’s Financial District, and devoted customers — jaded New Yorkers, no less — swarmed.

Thanks - they’re smart, not overextending. Following the In-and-Out model.

They’re set to go big-time, all they need is what we call “Moist Brisket”, one of the HEALTHIEST foods available in the country. Something that Chick-a-fill cannot match as chicken doesn’t hold a candle to beef, particularly fatty beef, when it comes to being a healthy food.

[By the way, if you think I’m full of crap on this, you’re not alone, but within 5 years, you’ll remember you heard it first here - it’s just now peculating up to mainstream]

As long as it's grass-finished beef.

“As long as it’s grass-finished beef.”

Probably so, but even the standard feed-lot type is MUCH HEALTHIER than carbs (any carbs), and still healthier than poultry.

Brisket is my neighbors specialty. Cooked slow and low in an offset smoker, Yum! Me and my boys power through a whole slab in no time; my wife and daughter, not so much.

Yea, gun control, what else. They took the side of Leftists.

RTIC seems to be the brand of choice now - great quality, half the price of Yeti. Only drawback is that although a Texas company, they’re made in China - still, at least China isn’t actively trying to take away our Second Amendment...yet.
