Following the deadly shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas that killed 22 people a few weeks ago, Hispanics in the city have flocked to the gun range to take concealed carry classes, Reuters reported. The course is required for Texas residents to obtain a License to Carry (LTC) a concealed firearm.
According to Michael McIntyre, general manager of Gun Central, one of the biggest gun stores in El Paso, his classes have see a huge increase since the shooting earlier this month. Normally each of his concealed carry classes have seven people. Now they average 50 people per class. And the people who are seeking his services are predominantly Hispanic.
“I have over 50 for this Saturday class and approximately the same amount for the Sunday class, and I normally have approximately seven,” McIntyre told Reuters.
In addition to an increase in a desire for training, McIntyre said his handgun sales doubled following the attack.
“We actually had two people buy guns here who were actually in the Walmart on the day of the shooting. The other people are just saying, ‘Hey, you know I want to be able to protect myself in the event of something going on.’,” he said. “This is not the last mass shooting we’re going to see.”

If you take a class all your information goes into the Government computer files. So that if a dictatorial oppressive government comes to power and decides to disarm us citizens it will know right where to go at 0-dark-30.

The Hispanics purchasing guns are going to like having a form of protection and they’ll start thinking they don’t want the Dems taking it away.

Then once you get the damn thing you find out you can’t actually carry concealed because of all the effing “gun free” zones. They should mass boycott all such places.

This is HORRIBLE NEWS for the Left, since, basically, owning a gun is one of the surest ways of turning a Democrat into a Republican - particularly when the entire Democrat field has taken their masks off and are now pushing outright confiscation.
The Dems may have been celebrating these shootings, as they always do because they think it helps with their long-term plans, but they may not get the results they want, not this time.

So fella says it’s a way for a future dictatorships to know RIGHT where to go to find gun owners and hot tabasco says he doesn’t want yahoos with no courses carrying a firearm.

You need to check your facts. Not every state requires or required a class for a concealed carry permit,(Indiana comes to mind) and several states follow the Constitution with no permit for purchase or carry. Most states do not require a class or permit to purchase. Now, considering Jonathan Swift’s use of the term Yahoo, since he created it, I think it best fits you and not the rest of us.
