It's been reported that Ginsburg said it is her 'dream' to be on the Supreme Court for as long as former Justice John Paul Stevens, who served for 35 years.
She may be staying to save a seat for a liberal President, or she may be staying out of ego for the longevity record.

It’s really a laugh riot———during the Obama years through all those cancers, he could have named a safe successor.
They probably told her to hang in there.....Hillary would be naming her successor.
Now the poor thing’s on her death bed.....but has to play the part of a working USSC justice.
