Former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh announced Sunday morning that he is running for president as a Republican, challenging President Trump in the GOP primary race.
"Friends, I'm in. We can't take four more years of Donald Trump. And that's why I'm running for President," Walsh tweeted. "It won't be easy, but bravery is never easy. But together, we can do it."

Idiocy. The guy is an ignorant loud mouth on two legs.
His radio show is doing poorly, too.
who the potatos is Joe Walsh?
But then again, that’s all Bush League Republicans can count on.
There are enough stupid people to re-elect Flimsey Grahamnesty, but not enough to dump Trump.
I always like a good laugh when I wake up on Sunday morning. A Soros puppet! Im guessing the same people who ran Egg McMuffins presidential campaign will be running this clown show too.
The Leftist arm of the GOP is as bad as the Dems. Worse in fact because the Republicans are supposed to know better and these guys hide behind a cloak of patriotism.
Bill Kristol money
More like another, more posterior orifice.
LOL. Joe Walsh couldn’t even hold his seat in Congress for more than one 2 year term.
These people are delusional. Just why can’t the country take four more years of President Trump? Economy too good? Country too safe? Border invasion being dealt with? They keep saying that the country can’t survive four more years of this president, but I can’t, for the life of me, figure out what is so horrible for them, other than their own gut-curdling hatred.
Obviously this is a publicity stunt but I’m not sure it is about the money or perhaps to help his talk show. I don’t listen to him so have no idea if he is doing well or not.
With Trump having a 80-90%+ approval among Republicans what can he be thinking?
Joe Walsh runs for VP
Walsh had often joked about running for office, announcing a mock presidential campaign in 1980 and a vice presidential campaign in 1992. Walsh ran for President of the United States in 1980, promising to make “Life’s Been Good” the new national anthem if he won, and ran on a platform of “Free Gas For Everyone”. Though Walsh was only 32 at the time of the election and thus would not have met the 35-year-old requirement to actually assume office, he said that he wanted to raise public awareness of the election. In 1992 Walsh ran for vice president with Rev. Goat Carson under the slogan “We Want Our Money Back!”
Joe Walsh, the rocker:
Well, there you go, televised Republican primary debates, also known as free ads for Trump. I assume that his reelection committee is eagerly mapping out as many as possible.
With Trump having a 80-90%+ approval among Republicans what can he be thinking? ......................... Campaign contributions can be kept for other things. Maybe a nice summer home next to Bernie’s?
